London City Island

Project Description:

This vibrant new development lies in an area with a rich naval heritage, The scheme is surrounded by the River Lea and a small ecological park encompassing streams, ponds, meadows and wildlife.

A derelict sector of contaminated land for 40 years, the 12 acre site was once an industrial eyesore. The introduction of a new bridge allowed for the regeneration and transformation of this unique site.

The mixed-use and sustainable development includes residential, retail work spaces, leisure facilities, cultural exhibition space and offices in a series of diverse landscaped public spaces, plazas, riverside gardens and cycle and pedestrian routes.

LCI is already an award winning regeneration development and has been appointed the home to the English National Ballet.
